Not a vet but yes vet charges vary enormously

Dog broke a tooth. Vet we were using close to home said $600-$800 to remove. Seemed like robbery so I called a vet in the little town where I work.

$150 and the vet was wonderful.

I had a dog when I was at VT and went to the vet school once. It was very expensive, went to a vet in C-Burg after that and it cost 1/4.
